In addition to Carol’s numerous impressive training certifications, she also does a fair amount of philanthropy through Yoga for organizations such as Yoga Reaches Out (YRO) and MGH Veterans Homebase Program as well as local organizations and individuals. She has also taught specialized classes for cancer patients and clients in recovery.
Carol received her college degree from Stonehill College. Her career has always brought her to service positions. She has been in the healthcare field for over 15 years and has always had a genuine interest in helping others, especially helping others feel good. She has personally practiced Yoga for over 25 years and has found it beneficial as she navigates life. She truly believes that Yoga helps a person live real life better off the mat - mentally, physically and spiritually. There are moments in our lives where we search within to see if we are really where we are supposed to be. It was during one of these moments that Carol decided to take the Yoga Teacher Training Program.
Carol completed Sacred Seeds Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 under the direction of the well-known and highly respected Jacqui Bonwell. Not only did this training program touch upon the basic Yoga teachings, but also on the strong energy healing components. She recently made the decision to change career paths and to do what she truly loves; that is to share her knowledge and experience of Yoga with others so they too can experience Yoga’s vast range of benefits.
Carol’s philosophy is “Yoga for YOU.” She believes anyone can do Yoga. She customizes her classes for her audience. Her class is theme oriented and typically ends with a hand-out quote. Yoga is an individual practice and she encourages her students to get out of it whatever it is that they need that day and time. Alignment, breath, mindfulness and safety are always the principles she brings to each class.
