CALLIE MIKKOLA, Dance Instructor

Callie Mikkola is a passionate dancer and aspiring dance educator from Pembroke, Massachusetts. She began dancing at the age of three and discovered her love for competitive dance at the age of nine. Since then, dance has played an incredibly important role in her life, allowing her to grow not only as a dancer, but also as a performer, leader, and mentor.

Throughout high school, Callie remained actively involved in her dance studio beyond her own training. She served as a class assistant, helping younger dancers learn and develop their skills, and also worked at the studio’s front desk. These experiences gave her the opportunity to work with dancers of different ages and abilities and helped spark her passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of dancers.

Callie graduated from Pembroke High School in May 2026 and began her freshman year at Bridgewater State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Dance. She has also continued her dance journey at the collegiate level as a member of the Bridgewater State University Dance Team. Through the team, Callie will compete at the Division III level and have the exciting opportunity to attend NDA Nationals.

Dance has always been much more than just an activity for Callie. It is something she truly loves and a major part of who she is. She is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging, and fun environment where dancers can feel confident while developing their skills. Callie is especially excited to share her love and knowledge of dance with children and to help them discover the same joy, confidence, friendships, and sense of accomplishment that dance has given her. She cannot wait to continue growing as a dancer and teacher while inspiring her students to work hard, believe in themselves, and most importantly, love dancing as much as she does.
