CLAIRE FERRARO, Dance Instructor
Hailing from South Windsor, Connecticut, Claire Ferraro launched her lifelong artistic journey at just five years old, cultivating a deep passion for movement that has driven her career ever since. She stepped into the rigorous world of competitive dance by age ten, swiftly building a versatile skill set and a commanding stage presence. Throughout her high school years, her talent earned her prestigious showcase opportunities, bringing her performances to high-profile stages including Carnival Cruise Line, Walt Disney World, and Universal Studios.
To continue her dance journey, Claire attended Keene State College in New Hampshire, earning degrees in both Dance and Early Childhood Education. During her collegiate tenure, she was a standout member of the KSC Dance Team for all four years and a mainstay featured artist in the department's premier mainstage showcase, An Evening of Dance. Her performance resume includes features in works choreographed by renowned industry figures, including former Alvin Ailey Artistic Director Robert Battle and Hoi Polloi’s Sara Sweet Rabidoux.
Complementing her performance credentials with over a decade of teaching experience, Claire has been guiding aspiring dancers since high school. Today, she brings that rich artistic pedigree and pedagogical background into the studio, inspiring the next generation through her specialization in the expressive fluidity, emotional depth, and technical precision of Lyrical and Modern dance. We are so happy to welcome her to our talented staff this season.
