COSTUMES
All dancers will debut amazing new costumes in our 2026 Showcase. Your costume fees are included in tuition.
Costume bags will be sent home as they arrive at the studio and will include all costume pieces. Hair and costume instructions can be found in your Parent Portal under the “Costume” tab. Costumes have been tried on before going home.
Important Costume Care Reminder: To prevent any damage or staining, dancers should not wear their costumes prior to Dress Rehearsal. Costumes should be kept safely stored until Dress Rehearsal unless otherwise instructed.
Please note: Families with outstanding balances will not receive costumes until their account balance has been paid in full.
Dress Rehearsal & Showcase Reminder: Dancers should arrive fully dressed in costume with hair done for both Dress Rehearsal and Showcase day.
Please make sure your dancer is not wearing jewelry, nail polish, or temporary tattoos.
And the best part, the costumes are yours to keep! ✨
TIGHTS
Tights can be purchased directly through Etoile at the front desk or through our website to pick up at the studio. *Tight pre-orders are due by April 17th.
OTHER NOTES:
Jewelry and nail polish must be removed for pictures, rehearsal, and Showcase performances.
Underwear is not allowed under costumes. (Think of leotards or dance shorts like a swimsuit - there is no need for the extra layer underneath!)
Please write your dancer's name in every SINGLE item they bring to the venue. Lost items without a name will be donated.
MAKEUP + HAIR
All students regardless of age are required to wear makeup for the show: lipstick, blush, eye shadow, and mascara. We want to see these beautiful faces under the heavy stage lights.
In order to eliminate distractions, and have your dancer’s face be seen on stage, hair must be worn in a style that is appropriate for a professional performance. We highly recommend a ballet bun or a braid(s) tucked under.
Any Red Lipstick - we recommend Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in the color pioneer but again any red will do!
Use Foundation to match skin tone.
Eye Shadow (Neutral Shades) - Use dark color from the outer corner into the crease, base color over lid, and lighter color in the inner corner of eye.
Blush - Highlight the high points of your dancer’s cheeks with a shade of blush that matches their skin tone.
Mascara (Black) - Use on Upper lashes.
